Location and service overview

The ferry links Porto Corsini and Marina di Ravenna across the Candiano Canal. The service provides about 7,500 operating hours per year with motor ferries carrying people and vehicles.

Service timetable

From 14 September 2025 the winter timetable is in force: daily service from 5:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. The service starts and ends at Porto Corsini.

Guaranteed time bands in case of strike

  • First band: 5:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
  • Second band: 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Service interruptions

In the event of bad weather or other causes, pedestrian transfer is guaranteed by bus on the road route, without additional charges.

Tickets

Where to buy tickets, passes and season tickets for the ferry.

Ticket machines

  • Contactless cards for 40 crossings (motorcycles and cars)

Payment methods: cash, debit card, credit card. All tickets must be validated by the validators located at the piers and on board the ferry.

From 17 April 2025 you can buy your ferry ticket directly on WhatsApp with the Chat&Go service.

Discounted tickets are sold exclusively at the Start Romagna ticket office in Ravenna: Ravenna Punto Bus – Piazza Farini 9, Monday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (closed on Sundays and public holidays).

How the ferry works

Boarding procedures
  • Follow the road signs to reach the boarding areas for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles.
  • Pedestrians and cyclists use the dedicated lanes and wait for the crew instructions.
  • Vehicles are boarded in the order indicated by the crew.
  • During the crossing, follow all safety instructions and remain in the permitted areas.
Ticket validation and safety
  • Contactless cards must be held close to the front of the validator to be validated.
  • Paper tickets with QR code must be brought near the optical reader on the lower part of the validator.
  • Boarding without a valid and correctly validated ticket is not allowed.
  • If you notice any issue or malfunction, please inform the crew immediately.
